The courageous canine gives up everything to rescue its owner, and then remarkably recuperates!”

The brave dog who saved his owner, Kabang, has returned to the Philippines after undergoing an eight-month surgery in the United States.

Kabang lost her nose and upper jaw after bravely saving two young owners from a speeding motorcycle on the streets of the Philippines. Kabang’s story touched the world. Through the advocacy of nurse Karen Kenngott, who lives in New York, internet users have raised over $20,000 to save Kabang. Kabang was taken to the Davis Veterinary Hospital in California, United States.

We have here the dog that seems a bit monstrous because of her missing snout, so guys, despite how Kabang looks, she’s actually a heroic dog!

The reason she no longer has a snout is because she saved two girls when she jumped in front of a motorcycle and took the impact. I’m really surprised she’s still alive, because you may have heard something about this story, but this motorcycle accident happened in December last year.

It’s been almost a year since it happened. Part of the reason she’s still alive is that local news in that area published the story about how she saved the lives of those two girls, and since then, people have been bringing her food every day. Fortunately, this nurse in New York heard about this story and decided to raise awareness about it, eventually raising over twenty thousand dollars.

Now we don’t know if the story will have a happy ending, but she has been moved to UC Davis, where she will undergo an important surgery to reconstruct her snout, and I just hope everything goes well for her because she’s been like this for almost a year.
